This patient requested a change in her neck contour. A chin implnt and neck recontouring with liposhaving provided the necessary correction.  Note the frontal view also shows a more balance harmonized face while correcting contour abnormlities around her chin.

Endoscopic Liposhaving to recontour the neck is a technique used  exclusively by Dr. Schaeffer. A six year follow-up is shown  above.  The muscle is tightened through a 3/4 inch incision below the chin. Eye lid surgery was also performed concurrently.

Actual Result

This 59 year old male patient lost a considerable amount of weight and had an excess  amount of skin under his chin as seen in the "preoperative" photograph. He declined a facelift .  The fat was shaved and the  hanging neck skin which he requested to be corrected was redistributed in his neck without skin removal.  These photos demonstrate the predicted result with computer imaging  (center photo).  The  predicted result accurately correlates with the actual result. This result was achieved  with endoscopic liposhaving, muscle tightening (platysmaplasty) without skin removal.   A 3/4 inch incision below the chin was the only access point.  His "turkey neck" was fully corrected.

This 33 year old woman required the full "profileplasty".  She requested nasal rhinoplasty to reduce the nasal bump and a chin implant to build up her chin. Concurrently, endoscopic liposhaving of the neck helped to improve the contour of her neck. These three procedures together provided the necessary steps to balance her profile.
