Cosmetic facial surgery is designed mainly
to enhance one's appearance by camouflaging the signs of aging or by
changing unsightly anatomy in order to bring harmony to all of the facial
features. It is the contours of
the skin of the face and eyes that convey expression and display a
healthy, vibrant appearance.
Facial cosmetic surgery consists of
elective procedures performed to correct conditions of the facial
structures.
A facelift is done to tighten facial and
neck muscles and to remove excess skin. Other procedures such as forehead
and brow lift, eyelid surgery, chin augmentation, rhinoplasty, neck
rejuvenation and liposuction can be done independently, or in conjunction
with a facelift to give a patient a more youthful appearance.
Most procedures are performed right in our
offices, but if needed we do use local area hospitals for certain
procedures.
